Missing the Mother Country

November 15, 2007 § Leave a comment

Hm it’s rainy days like these that just kill me – the memories from my trips to England just come flooding back. I would do almost anything to get back there, feel the traditional welling up out of the soil, smell the country air, walk into a dark cathedral, get run over by a couple taxicabs.

Enough said. I think I will go here for my graduation trip in 09. Devon and Cornwall are some of the only areas in England I haven’t visited, except for Northumbria. Perhaps I can split my time up betweeen Devon and Cornwall, Northumbria, and my beloved Yorkshire Dales.

I’m done dreaming for the day. Time for school.
