Oh. My. Gosh. This building is FREEZING! Maloney is so ancient, the cold air just whips right through the walls and windows, and the stone floors and walls act like a refrigerator. Dr. Brewer taught class in gloves and a parka yesterday, and we turned on hot plates in lab just to generate a little heat. By the end of the four hour lab period my fingers were so numb I couldn’t pick up a pencil anymore.
Maybe, just maybe, they will turn on the heat by the end of the week. Until then, I suppose I will spend my study time curled up in two layers of jackets, a scarf, and wrapped in a fleece blanket in the lab at my desk.
From what I hear it is pretty bad in St. Bonaventure as well…Brrrrrr.
